Introducing 'PG' our right-hand drive Aston Martin DB7 Volante

We have had so much fun in MoneyPenny and have been planning some UK road trips. Mr F sold his business and decided to congratulate himself with another DB7. This one is a 1997 manual i6 right-hand drive volante - one of only 192 made, making it one of the rarest DB7 versions. In most respects she is the same as MoneyPenny - a 1997 series 2 fitted with airbags. We are the fifth custodians of her which currently has its original number plates P897UUR. We have seen on YouTube a video of this car, dated July 1997 at the AMOC Open Day at Bloxham which suggests it was an Aston Martin demonstrator at that time.

The car has always been maintained by AM dealers. Previous owners have fitted a sports exhaust and Speedline magnesium wheels. Mr F has now fitted a set of DB7 Vantage front seats which are far more comfortable that the originals. Fortunately, the upholstery matches well.

Why is she called PG? This was the source of much debate between us. Mr F wanted to call her 'Pussy Galore' to keep the Bond theme going but I don't want to attract a whole lot of unwanted friend requests from people who don't really have cars in mind and the world has changed since Goldfinger was released in 1964. I get enough of those unwelcome requests already! With a number plate that is P...UUR the Bond connection made sense, so we have settled on 'PG'.
