We checked out of Ravello yesterday and have since found out that Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were also holidaying there! We drove the coast road to Amalfi and wandered the streets for an hour enjoying an amazing lemon drink ...mmm! So refreshing!
The Hotel Onda Verde where we are staying two nights, in Praiano deserves a big shout out. What an amazingly beautiful place - and they have parking for MoneyPenny! We had delicious food at Trattoria Da Armandino on the the beachfront last night and had a magnificent meal at the hotel tonight. The buffet breakfast is great and the pool is AMAZING. My massage by the pool bar was so good. Mr F and I didn't want to go anywhere today and just read books and drank by the pool :) I thoroughly recommend The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo! I borrowed it from the hotel 'library' and read it in one day. Mr F read an Aston Martin book by 'The Stig' and throughly recommends it for fellow car nerds. We've met some lovely people by the pool, some fellow Aussies and Americans in the main. We're off to Sorrento tomorrow!
